Betty Rotar is receiving the award posthumously. She was a member of Jadran Singing Society in Cleveland for more than 60 years. She was an active member of the United Slovenian Society, American Slovenes for Cultural Exchange, and on the National Board of SNPJ. Betty's connection with polka music found her working at countless events at the Slovenian Workman's Home, and SNPJ Farm in Kirtland.
